Kylian Mbappe Wins Golden Boy Award
Kylian Mbappe has won the Golden Boy award ahead of the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Marcus Rashford, Gabriel Jesus and Gianluigu Donnarumma.

The 18 year old scored 24 goals in all competitions for Monaco last season. During the summer, he signed for PSG on loan from Monaco in a deal from which PSG will sign him at the end of the season for 180 million Euros.
He has four goals ad four assists in eleven games this season.
Golden Boy Award: What is it about?
The Golden Boy is an award given by sports journalist to a player who is under the age of 21 that has been the most impressive during a calendar year (two halves of two separate seasons).
Newspapers from all across the continent vote, these are Bild (Germany), Blick (Switzerland) , A Bola (Portugal), l’Equipe (France), France Football (France), Marca (Spain), Mundo Deportivo (Spain), Ta Nea (Greece), Sport Express (Russia), De Telegraaf (Netherlands) and The Times (UK).
All nominees must play in a European nation’s top flight.
The likes of Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, Isco, Fabregas have all won the award at one time or the other.
How Kylian Mbappe Won
Tuttosport who originally started the award in 2003 confirmed the winner on Monday.
Kylian Mbappe won with a whooping 291 votes ahead of Ousmane Dembele with 149 votes. Marcus Rashford was third with 76 votes while Gabriel Jesus followed with 72 votes.
AC Milan Goalkeeper was fifth, followed by Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic.
Ajax’s Kasper Dolberg comes in seventh and Celta Vigo’s Emre Mor in eighth.
Fiorentina’s Federico Cheisa and Juventus’ Rodrigo Betancur finished ninth and tenth respectively.
