Emiliano Sala’s audio message before disappearance
An audio message sent by Emiliano Sala to close friends before his plane vanished from the radar has been released.
He admitted that he was getting scared and that if they didn’t hear from him in the next one and half hours, someone should be sent to find him.
“Hello, little brothers, how are you crazy people? Brother, I’m really tired, I was here in Nantes doing things, things, things, things and things, and it never stops, it never stops, it never stops,” Sala said in a first recording.
“I’m here on a plane that looks like it’s about to fall apart, and I’m going to Cardiff, crazy, tomorrow we already start, and in the afternoon we start training, boys, in my new team.”
A later message from the striker said: “How are you guys, all good? If you do not have any more news from in an hour and a half, I don’t know if they need to send someone to find me… I am getting scared!”
Cardiff City’s record signing, who was on his way to Cardiff from Nantes was on a plane that lost connection on Monday night while flying off the coast of Guernsey Island, located between UK and France.
The footballing world has been sent to shock by this news, with players, coaches, clubs and even fans coming out to show support for the prolific striker. The trend on Twitter has been backed with the hashtag #prayforsala.
The Guernsey Police started to search for Emiliano Sala and the Pilot yesterday and stopped around evening.
The search continues this morning as we hope for a positive outcome.
